SAINTE GENEVIEVE, MISSOURI, PLEIN AIR PAINTING EVENT - 2007

It was not likely that I would participate in this plein air painting event in beautiful, historic Sainte Genevieve. My wife and I arrived on Thursday, October 11, and discovered that there was one more full day available to paint before the framed painting or paintings were to be submitted for judging. The two paintings shown on the right were completed on the following day. The Felix Valle house painting was submitted for judging and received first prize for the watercolor category. I would like to express my appreciation for the Ste. Genevieve Art Guild for sponsoring the event, and I look forward to participating in future such events.
